This is the conversation I had with a 5 year-old student at school today...
Student: Why did you wear your pajamas to school today?
Me: What?
Student: Your pants. They look like pajamas.
Me: Honey, these are my pants.
Student: They look like pajamas.
This is the conversation I had my husband tonight as we walked into a restaurant...
My husband: I hope this is the last time you are going to wear those pants.
Me: What's wrong with them? (knowing full well what was wrong with them!)
My husband: They're huge on you!
Me: One of my students told me they look like pajamas
My husband: Actually, they look like something you should wear while working in the garden
Me: Okay, okay...I get it. My pants are too big.
It's so strange...my clothes are either too big or way too small and I'm struggling with trying to dress professionally every day for work. As you can gather from the two conversations above, it's apparent that I wasn't overly successful today! LOL The problem is that I don't want to buy lots of clothing at this size because I am in the process of losing more weight! To look at the situation positively...loose clothes mean the pounds are dropping off, right?
